Conner McWhirter is a rising young tenor. His most recent roles include Rodolfo, Calaf, and the Prince in Rusalka. His most recent project was Calaf in Turandot with Taconic Opera. Last summer he was seen at Charlottesville Opera as Remendado in Carmen. The previous year saw him covering Don Jose and Cavaradossi at Shreveport Opera. He began his career at Sarasota Opera, covering Arturo in Lucia. He holds a Performance Diploma from Indiana University, a Masters Degree in Vocal Performance from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelors Degree from the Eastman School of Music.

Conner is currently taking students for voice and piano lessons from age 5 up. He has extensive teaching experience and with both beginners and advanced students. In addition to his degrees in voice, he studied piano privately for 20 years with instructors from Rollins College, The Eastman School of Music, Southern Methodist University as well as Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
